Up ,up and away and I was headed for Haiti. Various thoughts crossed my mind as I realized I was the youngest person seated in the plane and my team of 20 was scattered throughout it. For a moment the question of what have I gotten myself into crossed my mind. I began to get nervous for what I may see or encounter in this already poor nation recently destroyed by an earthquake. As the plane touched down, I began to get anxious. I prayed for strength and for safety, as our team leader made it clear to us that the next couple of hours were going to be the hardest on the trip.
